Anita Fleerackers invites artists to Valentine exhibition: “Surprising offerings”
Gierle –Anita Fleerackers presents in her gallery in Hemeldonk in Gierle (Lille) the first exhibition of the year. This Valentine’s edition will feature the works of seven artists.

The experienced artist from Gierle invites enthusiasts to come see the artworks until the end of February during the Valentine’s edition of Ten Huize van Anita Fleerackers. “With the first exhibition of the new year, we bring visitors a surprising array of different talented artists,” explained Anita Fleerackers. “For example, Helga Renders’ paintings reflect her love of her surroundings. Helga is the aunt of Tessa Renders, the youngest artist in our gallery.”
Paul Dexters combines oil on canvas with prints on glass in his paintings. Lydia Van Daele presents wooden sculptures full of movement and glass art. “Stef Janssens is known for his powerful drawings, which are perfectly balanced. For this expo, he gives them a digital touch,” says Anita Fleerackers. “Michèle Voeten is becoming an established artist in Gierle. With graceful lines, the dancing figures emerge beautifully in a halo of light. And Annette Defoort’s ceramics are known internationally.”
The expo is open Feb. 8, 9, 10, 11, 15, 16, 17, 18, 22, 23, and 25, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. each time, or by appointment.(bvdl)
