Winner Shop Local receives painting worth 500 euros

Gierle, Lichtaart -Artist and gallery owner Anita Fleerackers of Gierle (Lille) rewarded the winner of the year-end Liever Lokaal action with a painting.

Anita Fleerackers was one of the participants in the province of Antwerp’s Shop Local action. From early December to mid-January, gallery customers received a ticket to fill out with each purchase. Participants had a chance to win the artwork Sparkling Flash worth 500 euros.

The ticket of Gerda Spaepen of Lichtaart (Kasterlee) came out of the drum thanks to an innocent hand. The winner came to pick up her painting at the gallery at Hemeldonk in Gierle. (bvdl)

The next exhibition Valentine’s Edition with works by Helga Renders, Lydia Van Daele, Paul Dexters, Tessa Renders, Michèle Voeten, Stef Janssens, Annette Defoort can be visited from Thursday, Feb. 1 to Sunday, Feb. 25, 2024, each time from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., at Hemeldonk 9 in Gierle.
