Artists show at new expo in Anita Fleerackers’ gallery

Gierle – In the gallery of Anita Fleerackers at Hemeldonk in Gierle (Lille) the new exhibition ‘At the home of’ has started. Artists Natasja Mulder, Jimmy Groen, Lennart Willems, John John Hoelen, Ingrid van Erwegen and Annette Defoort are exhibiting their works throughout the month of October.

Artist Anita Fleerackers again invites fellow artists in her gallery in Gierle to show themselves to the general public. During the month of October, six artists will take center stage during the exhibition Ten Huize van Anita Fleerackers. “Natasja Mulder is under the spell of authentic Italian mosaic art,” says Anita Fleerackers. “In Italy, under the guidance of local grandmasters, she learned the tricks of the trade herself. She took several master classes there with renowned mosaic artists. Through a combination of technique and patience, she creates beautiful art.”

Jimmy Groen is a queer artist whose paintings explore identity. Lennart Willems presents his poetry collections in the gallery, and John John Hoelen is a fixture in the exhibition space. Annette Delfoort, in turn, exhibits her ceramic works.

The exhibition at Anita Fleerackers’ home at Hemeldonk 9 in Gierle is still open on Oct. 6, 10, 11, 12, 13, 17, 18, 19, 20, 24, 25, 26 and 27, each time from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. or by appointment. (bvdl)
